Dolphins are animals that likes people to show them what they can. They love attention. The Dolphins in our Suriname River are called the Guiana dolphin or the Profosu dolphin. Their habitat in this area is about 20 to 25 square kilometers, which is relatively small. The number of dolphins in this area is estimated at approximately 100 to 125. These dolphins can live well in the brackish, shallow water of the Suriname River.
